Personalised dome charms

Whilst browsing the net for more crafty inspiration I found these great domes that you can personalise  for your own jewellery, for example you could make a charm bracelet with these and put photos of your children into them, or even coloured papers and add co-ordinations beads

Handmade Tatty Ted Cards

Here are 2 lovely cards i made using tatty ted embellishments, I made the paper flower using scraps of paper by cutting circle and cutting into it and using a quilling tool folding it in to the centre and glueing.

The purple flower was made by cutting a long strip of paper and cutting into it at 1cm intervals then rolling it into the centre this created a ruffled looking flower.

For this fathers day card i coloured the card blank using a turquoise ink and stamped the heart shape around the card to make the background.
A tatty ted embellishment was the main focus and the rossette/fan was made by cutting a strip of paper about 3 cm thick and scoring at 1 cm intervanls and folding it back and forth in a concertina. Secure with glue and a pretty shiny sparkle was added in the centre and a blue ribbon in the centre really sets it off.

Handmade Recipe Book

Here is a really pretty recipe book I designed, i really needed somewhere to write down all my favourite recipes, and i was fed up of having to keep making my husbands favourite dundee cake so i wrote my recipe in here and now if he wants one he knows how to make it.
I finished with bright orange ribbons that kind of clashed a bit with the pink and green colours but it looks really nice together

Easel cards

Here are 2 really pretty easel style cards I made using a free hunkydory kit i got from a cardmaking magazine. I used black card blanks that i forgot i had and here are the results

Fashion cards

Here are a few cards I made with a fashion theme. I particularly love the pink and black colours together.
what do you think?

Vintage calendar

This is my vintage inspired calendar i made using my hunkydory dressing room card making kit, it came out so nicely i have had many nice comments about it from family and friends. I used lots of Tim Holtz distress ink in "old paper" and "tattered rose" shades and finshed off with brown ribbon.

Stamping & watercolouring

I stamped out this lovely image and used watercolour pencils and a waterbrush to colour in for a lovely subtle pastel effect, teamed with the colourful buttons it turned out really nicely. This is the first time i have used watercolour pencils and i definately think i will try this again.

Mothers day cards

Here are a couple of mothers day cards i made with a 3d frame design. The black and gold one is for my mum as black is her favourite colour and the cupcake design is for my mother in law

Charity shop card challenge

This weekend i set myself a challenge to make as many card as i could using only the free card making freebies i got from Lets Make Cards magazine.

I set myself a time limit of 10 minutes per card it was a really fun exercise and i think i will do it again to try and use up some of my stash.

I made 12 cards and they are all to go to my local charity shop this week.

Here are the results

More Vintage & Steampunk inspired cards

Hi
Here are 2 more vintage style cards i have made.
The first one of the explorer in the steampunk style was made using a Kanban explorer stamp.

The second one was made using a Hunkydory cardmaking seta called "The Dressing Room" I also made myself a beautiful calendar using the same set.
