ive been really poorly the past couple of weeks with a cold not to mention juggling a 7 year old and a newborn baby.<br />
I hope to do some more crafting over the easter holidays as i won't have the long 4 mile walk school run to do for a couple of weeks.<br />
I have however ordered some new crafty goodies such as<br />
some peel off sentiments<br />
Twinkling h20 paints<br />
Paper piercing ruler<br />
Some brown kraft card blanks<br />
And a few freebies from magazines including a bow maker and a stamp set all which i hope to be using soon in the meantime here are a few photos of some cards i made a while back that i found the pictures for<br />

I shaped the butterfly wings by curling them on my scissors to give them a bit more dimension.<br />

The card blank was made by using my spellbinders dies to create a lovely shaped card.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkEl2r_dUSOY0ez5QSazFq5jaNA5lvW0it-ApV4CJPFom4kacTIJ7pr0o0KfjAYcywwFRx1j2lsF22vyfHlOGhpGuv05HQgBJ8-PDMyGXgQo1SYGEUdgkB-fS76tfaf2vrwXYgAUqvgO4/s1600/tatty.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="241" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkEl2r_dUSOY0ez5QSazFq5jaNA5lvW0it-ApV4CJPFom4kacTIJ7pr0o0KfjAYcywwFRx1j2lsF22vyfHlOGhpGuv05HQgBJ8-PDMyGXgQo1SYGEUdgkB-fS76tfaf2vrwXYgAUqvgO4/s320/tatty.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
The purple flower was made by cutting a long strip of paper and cutting into it at 1cm intervals then rolling it into the centre this created a ruffled looking flower.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVm-aS0ONMYwC1_9EYjoX4g-IWF9FOtXZKsibZU-CvwzZb09wJ-QD4981VuAdaMnw1KlexiF9e36sUZ2eH-THANo4xQjufFWymuT6LOxa-hMcXKzhTOqIZzNGAXHkqYNSd9UgoGFLzQ8Q/s1600/tatty2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVm-aS0ONMYwC1_9EYjoX4g-IWF9FOtXZKsibZU-CvwzZb09wJ-QD4981VuAdaMnw1KlexiF9e36sUZ2eH-THANo4xQjufFWymuT6LOxa-hMcXKzhTOqIZzNGAXHkqYNSd9UgoGFLzQ8Q/s320/tatty2.jpg" width="241" /></a></div>
<br />
For this fathers day card i coloured the card blank using a turquoise ink and stamped the heart shape around the card to make the background.<br />
A tatty ted embellishment was the main focus and the rossette/fan was made by cutting a strip of paper about 3 cm thick and scoring at 1 cm intervanls and folding it back and forth in a concertina. Secure with glue and a pretty shiny sparkle was added in the centre and a blue ribbon in the centre really sets it off.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I finished with bright orange ribbons that kind of clashed a bit with the pink and green colours but it looks really nice together<br />

I used lots of Tim Holtz distress ink in "old paper" and "tattered rose" shades and finshed off with brown ribbon.<br />

This is the first time i have used watercolour pencils and i definately think i will try this again.<br />

<br />
I set myself a time limit of 10 minutes per card it was a really fun exercise and i think i will do it again to try and use up some of my stash.<br />
<br />
I made 12 cards and they are all to go to my local charity shop this week.<br />
<br />
Here are the results<br />

This is the tutorial for my cluster bracelet it is easy and fun to make and looks really nice too and one size fits all, you will need<br />
Headpins (how many depends of the length of bracelet and the size of the beads you are using)<br />
Round nose pliers<br />
Beads of your choice<br />
Elastic<br />
Clear nail polish (optional)<br />
<br />
First take a piece of bracelet elastic and cut to the required length, then tie a few knots at the end so they make a larger knot so the the charms you make don't fall off.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlTC7i0EvGtKZARpm91cGqkS1mOK5CBE0jmPkn_gGcD0cD-FIDEXDt_zFJiKnRuw4w7ZzCeVriLrnrk1IwGCN2O31BJbec-WPvYCAdNzYQa6UzvF8MRjn9PXRL6Vm1uMpxaXdNrq7L-xM/s1600/cluster+22.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="241" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjlTC7i0EvGtKZARpm91cGqkS1mOK5CBE0jmPkn_gGcD0cD-FIDEXDt_zFJiKnRuw4w7ZzCeVriLrnrk1IwGCN2O31BJbec-WPvYCAdNzYQa6UzvF8MRjn9PXRL6Vm1uMpxaXdNrq7L-xM/s320/cluster+22.jpg" width="320" /></a></div> Begin by threading beads onto the headpin (don't fill the whole headpin as you need to coil the metal a few times around the pliers)<br />
<br />
Now using your pliers make a loop and keep coiling until you reach a few mm's from the bead(s)<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieaYPbLxjWC3seWywfk-4SmtJp0nYRwZWr3hZc4HVshlX129nhD0msH8YN66UyqdkyAyTcqKZpo48F7IYSIKSYAlRk09uo_kCxaYNVwzWda4DraGJPU5dI-deChH_YB97A3H1hXpMyjl4/s1600/cluster+33.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="284" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieaYPbLxjWC3seWywfk-4SmtJp0nYRwZWr3hZc4HVshlX129nhD0msH8YN66UyqdkyAyTcqKZpo48F7IYSIKSYAlRk09uo_kCxaYNVwzWda4DraGJPU5dI-deChH_YB97A3H1hXpMyjl4/s320/cluster+33.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Make lots of the charms and add them to the elastic<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmUgGQpx7L8CWiS1pm-7TV_cCvXqBO1uNG7M52dIU02tclXueZD042bc5KAq26G1Wq0RnXFujnFgu6scSh1VBgNKarsT1_O14OQy-PMRca8bFU5DWFKRzKX_xgBGAgCNEQqIsK28cXaVU/s1600/cluster+44.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="174" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjmUgGQpx7L8CWiS1pm-7TV_cCvXqBO1uNG7M52dIU02tclXueZD042bc5KAq26G1Wq0RnXFujnFgu6scSh1VBgNKarsT1_O14OQy-PMRca8bFU5DWFKRzKX_xgBGAgCNEQqIsK28cXaVU/s320/cluster+44.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Your cluster bracelet will start to grow, keep adding and making the charms until you think you have enough to fill the bracelet, to finish the bracelet simply tie the two ends tightly i would knot at least 5 times and the knot is hidden in all the charms, and add a touch of clear nail polish if you wish to make the knots even more sturdy.<br />
<br />
<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZctXY9NPTOlZyQ7kGQXiRwVaXWENbZVF-UswlB6w5THsElvN5IM-qA8jO3EAf9S9eBKdIPxU5GKdapqh8SMXZPz08VsIN-70fRhD6zfbBySowZP-zRAn6K9RxHCimKVVCwG4XL3WITAg/s1600/memory+wire+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="163" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZctXY9NPTOlZyQ7kGQXiRwVaXWENbZVF-UswlB6w5THsElvN5IM-qA8jO3EAf9S9eBKdIPxU5GKdapqh8SMXZPz08VsIN-70fRhD6zfbBySowZP-zRAn6K9RxHCimKVVCwG4XL3WITAg/s320/memory+wire+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>You will need; memory wire, beads, round nose pliers <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKg_70P31SNX7ynMVEpczlNmBXBPGxUidbapQNH01XDtRhYtfj0LsGoqQv0HPLhIDwFEjBP_k24BkkG6OqBis0-1pXg5F8WYpEY3gS-GupC9y7p6vDFsN1tv_FyM9AlLPlXn6HnylKTfw/s1600/memory+wire+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="302" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKg_70P31SNX7ynMVEpczlNmBXBPGxUidbapQNH01XDtRhYtfj0LsGoqQv0HPLhIDwFEjBP_k24BkkG6OqBis0-1pXg5F8WYpEY3gS-GupC9y7p6vDFsN1tv_FyM9AlLPlXn6HnylKTfw/s320/memory+wire+2.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>First i made a loop at one end, using my round nose pliers, i wrapped it round about 3 - 4 times. This will stop any beads falling off when threading them on.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoYahk25vECpI7Jz47JRdd4b99r5jpupfe7Vuehis8RHXENgP7Ad8-miqnGPWDTKWnDkIQc2hZW6Tq7hhRrKI9quouQRxBwiUsG_yerjRvkfh2XkM6WEy00B3EAnG3entZ4JcEc1xwGaA/s1600/memory+wire+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="272" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoYahk25vECpI7Jz47JRdd4b99r5jpupfe7Vuehis8RHXENgP7Ad8-miqnGPWDTKWnDkIQc2hZW6Tq7hhRrKI9quouQRxBwiUsG_yerjRvkfh2XkM6WEy00B3EAnG3entZ4JcEc1xwGaA/s320/memory+wire+3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
I then started threading the beads on, do this in any design you like, pushing them down to the bottom where you made the loop, Continue to add the beads until you reach about 2 inches from the end of the wire. Next using your round nose pliers make a loop and wind it around until all the wire is coiled and the beads secured.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSV9EIrUm0XoiMMIVSa7FlcDwLTzFOR5MR3MURU_wLZGFv47FvDZ8cotEFR6N-TrIg1rDVC3TS_OaBCATrEYpW6bqy0dgBcHsqVPzTnXn1nukHuoLoUVj9cjwoHpT6q1L37cKMxSL4MhQ/s1600/Memory+wire+4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSV9EIrUm0XoiMMIVSa7FlcDwLTzFOR5MR3MURU_wLZGFv47FvDZ8cotEFR6N-TrIg1rDVC3TS_OaBCATrEYpW6bqy0dgBcHsqVPzTnXn1nukHuoLoUVj9cjwoHpT6q1L37cKMxSL4MhQ/s320/Memory+wire+4.jpg" width="235" /></a></div><br />
This is the finished bracelet and it took me just over 10 minutes to make, they also make great candle decorations, go on have a go its really easy!!<br />
